The problem this service answers
Someone told you what appears when your organisation is searched for. You have no continuous view of what is published, what is visible, and what has changed recently.
What is visible about an organisation online is assembled from material it does not control: articles, directory entries, forum threads, reviews, old pages that no longer reflect reality. Prospects, candidates and partners form an impression from that assembly, and the organisation is usually the last to know when its composition changes.
The temptation is to react to individual items. That is rarely the right response, and it sometimes amplifies what it tries to contain. The useful question is a different one: what is actually visible, how visible is it, since when, and is it moving. Answering it requires observation over time, not a screenshot taken during a bad week.
What the assignment covers
This service observes and documents what is publicly visible about your organisation. It covers press and online publications naming you, publicly accessible discussion and review content where relevant, and the visible results returned for the search expressions defined with you. Each observation is dated and sourced, so a change is demonstrable rather than felt.
The work is descriptive by design. We report what exists, since when, in which sources, and how the picture has evolved between two observation points. Where a negative item appears, we describe its origin, its reach in publication terms and whether it is being repeated elsewhere, which is usually the question that determines whether any response is warranted.
We do not undertake to remove, suppress, bury or improve any result. That is not our role and no honest provider can guarantee it. What this service gives you is an accurate, evidenced picture, delivered regularly, on which your own communication, legal or editorial decisions can be based with a clear view of the facts.
How we work on it
- We define with you the entities, expressions and result pages to be observed.
- Observation points are fixed so that comparisons over time remain valid.
- Publications and publicly accessible mentions are collected, dated and sourced.
- Each notable item is described by origin, nature and whether it is being repeated.
- Changes between observation points are reported factually, with evidence attached.
- Sensitive items trigger an alert according to thresholds agreed at scoping.
- The observation perimeter is reviewed as your exposure changes.
Where the information comes from
Sources are selected with you at the start of the assignment and reviewed as the subject evolves.
- Press and online media publications naming your organisation or its brands.
- Publicly accessible review, rating and discussion platforms relevant to your sector.
- Publicly visible search results for the expressions defined at scoping.
- Directories, public registers and institutional pages referencing the organisation.
- Your own published communication, used as a reference point for comparison.
Possible deliverables
The format is chosen with you. A single assignment can combine several of them.
- A periodic reputation observation report, dated, sourced and comparable.
- A record of what changed since the previous observation, with evidence.
- Alerts on the appearance of items meeting the agreed sensitivity criteria.
- A tracking table of visible items with source, date, nature and status.
- A factual note on a specific item when you need it documented precisely.
Who this service is designed for
What this service does not promise
We observe and document; we do not remove, suppress or improve results, and we make no claim about future visibility. This work uses public content only and is not investigation into individuals, their private accounts or their private lives.
How to start
Tell us which names and expressions should be observed, and how often you need a comparable reading. We define observation points before starting so results stay measurable.
